Slimquick Review
Overview
Slimquick is a diet product created for women only. The manufacturer uses a unique knowledge of how the female body works as the main selling point for the diet pill. Hormonal changes, water weight gain and lower than normal energy levels are treated with the regular use of Slimquick. This does not mention the fact that women are supposed to lose much more weight on this diet pill than others created for both men and women. Does the ingredient list support Slimquick’s claims?
The Ingredients
Green Tea Extract, Caffeine, Rhodiola Extract, South African Hoodia, Juniper Extract, Chaste Tree Extract, Soy Extract, Asian Ginseng Extract, Brown Seaweed, Dandelion, Yerba Mate, Uva-ursi, Japanese Knotweed Extract, Phytosterols, L-Theanine, Microcrystalline, Film Coat (hypromellose, hydroxypropyl cellulose, acesulfame potassium, titanium dioxide), Croscarmellose Sodium, Soy Polysaccharides, Maltodextrin, Stearic Acid, Magnesium Stearate and Silica.
The Features
There are multiple weight loss products in the Slimquick link. The female can choose from an easy to mix drink or a supplement with Hoodia to battle that urge to eat. Each of the products contains similar ingredients to those listed for the New and Improved Slimquick diet pill formula.
The first ingredient is Green Tea extract which is a good thing. Green tea has been proved scientifically to increase weight loss. However, it contains caffeine and the second ingredient is caffeine. This means the Slimquick weight loss product is based majorly on the effects of caffeine on the body.
Caffeine can increase energy and act as a diuretic when large amounts are consumed. Dandelion also works as a natural diuretic to push extra water out of the body. The other ingredients listed have not been proven to work at balancing hormonal changes in the body or to increase weight loss or fat burn.
The Best
- Slimquick can be found at nearly every major retail store.
- The product is inexpensive at $33 for 120 capsules.
The Worst
- The Green Tea and Caffeine are the only proven ingredients.
- Too much caffeine can cause jitters and nausea.
- There are many different forms of Slimquick and that may confuse the consumer.
Final Thoughts
There is no reason to support the use of Slimquick over other weight loss products or diet pills. The ingredient list is long and contains many ingredients that “claim” to work a certain way in the body without clinical proof they actually work. The inclusion of a diuretic could be the reason women see weight loss, but this loss is not real and will return as soon as the diuretic is discontinued. The high levels of caffeine will cause energy bursts, but again, this is not a lasting effect.
