Sensa Review
Overview
Sensa is a unique diet supplement that is not taken as a drink or a pill. This product comes in small packets of powder that are sprinkled on food to curb hunger. According to the website, the Sensa will not change how food tastes, but the smell and taste (which the taste buds can detect) will leave the dieter feeling less hungry with every meal. How does science support such a claim?
The Ingredients
Maltodrexin, Tricalcium Phosphate, Carmine, Soy and Milk.
The Features
Created by Dr. Alan Hirsch, Sensa seems to have a large amount of medical support, or the dieter would think it does. The creator is an accomplished author with six books published about the sensory system. He is also a leading researcher in the fields of smell and taste. The Sensa program can be ordered directly from the website. The program is progressive with six months of ongoing product usage to see the full effects of the product.
The one month supply retails for $59 US with a six month starter kit going for $235 US. There are two clinical studies referenced on the website with both resulting in large amounts of weight loss for the users of Sensa. Both studies offer links, but the links just take the viewer to another page on the official Sensa website. The clinical studies should be published offsite if the creators of Sensa want viewers to believe the results.
The Best
- There is some support for weight loss resulting from Sensa use.
- The website offers a free sample of Sensa.
The Worst
- The product is VERY expensive.
- The clinical studies have no offsite foundation.
- The PDF files containing study information would not load.
- The program requires six months of use.
The free trial of Sensa could be worth a try. The product seems to have clinical support even if the studies are located onsite. There is no reference to needing to use Sensa for a certain period of time before the full effect is felt on hunger so the sample may offer the dieter a chance to judge whether the product works for them.

Their marketing promotion is misleading and fraudulent. They state free 30 day trial. They charge you $4.95 to get it. BUT, if you do not return the empty bottles WITHIN the 30 days, they then charge you $89.95, which in fact is 34% higher than street value, for the supposedly free trial. They then proceed to charge your credit card monthly sending you product that you never ordered. I tried this for more than 30 days and can honestly say it does not work! It does make you feel full and makes you congested, like you have a head cold, but it does not cause you to lose weight. My strong advise is to steer WAY CLEAR OF THIS SCAM!
